I went on vacation to Boston and New York to be with my man on tour. It was great to see some of my best freinds, be with my boyfriend and rock out. However, he had the flu and I came down with it as soon as I got home.
I'm going to skip all the messy details but I'm out of a job again. It obviously wasn't the right place for me and hopefully I'll find something better. In the meantime I'm scrambling to find whatever work that I can and find something stable for the long run. I know that I'll find something it's just a matter of letting things fall into place.
This leaves me lots of time to work on publicity and stuff like that for my boyfriend, to work on my writing and to knit! I finished two scarves for my dad's birthday and I got to give them to him when I was up there over the weekend.
My man came into town on the 10th and we spent a week together. He played a few shows out here and then we drove up to Aspen to see my folks. Unfortunately, after a string of bad weather events, the bus decided to leave early for Kansas and we had to cut things a day short. Hopefully he will be back in a couple of weeks to play some more shows out here.

Just two Irish girls havin a pint at the Boston Beer Garden. This is me and my former roomie Ali. It was so good to see her and have her show me some of Boston. We went to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum which was AMAZING and deserves a post all to itself!
B&E 2008!!! This is me and Bryan, my best friend from college, outside of the Highline Ballroom in NYC. We hadn't seen each other in years and it was awesome to catch up.
This is me and Claire, my best freind from high school! Claire and I have known each other since we were about 12 years old and in all those years not a whole lot has changed. We are probably still the same height and we think all the same goofy things are cool and still crack eachother up!
And an extra special shout out to all my other awesome freinds that I got to hang with Cherie, Michael and his lady Ellen, and PONCHO the lover dog, Ali's cool boyfriend Russell and his peeps. Maybe next time I get to hang with Lia and Natalia!
