Jeebus! Socks are Hard!!!

So I'm trying to figure out socks and they are REALLY freaking complicated. If someone EVER give you hand knit socks, APPRECIATE THEM. They are not quick and easy and they are all on double pointed needles which are a TOTAL pain in the butt. But I'm determined to get it right!!!

Here's how I"m doing so far:




I'm just using some green worsted weight acrylic scrap yarn and folowing the directions at Socks 101 and Silver's Sock Class.

So, since this is all online, I'm sitting at my desk this whole time. However, this is way to complicated to be doing in front of the TV. So I'm sitting here and I'd like to thank FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS for keeping me entertained through this tedium. I've been listening to parts of the BBC Radio Show and just random stuff on Youtube. Thanks Bret and Jemaine!!! Oh but I have to admit that there have been a couple of times when I had to put my knitting down becuase I was laughing so hard.
